I have a family member who wants to try to apply for a short sale. She had to move from Ft. Lauderdale to Sebring, FL, due to a job situation and I have listed her condo for rent and sale for over four months and nothing has happened. She requested today I take the rental listing down and try to see if I can get her approved for a short sale.

Why Should You Not Take Advantage?
Many people wonder if this type of investing is right for them. It’s a good question and some people feel a little guilty by profiting from this foreclosure mess. It took me a while to come to grips with it. The bottom line is that when I examined all the facts, both the property owners and banks needed ME more than I needed THEM.
I never take advantage of people and educate them as much as possible about the foreclosure process. I also want to get paid for my time and expertise. Do you work all day for nothing? I know I value my time and experience and when I get paid in the way I do after a Short Sale I feel no guilt at all.
The good news is that everyone can learn what I have done and once you learn the system, it is all pretty easy to do over and over again.

I felt it was very helpful even though I have had the experience working directly with foreclosures as an asset Mgr for Freddie Mac in Dallas.
